The PLANET IKVM-17080 is the 8-Port Drawer IP KVM with single-rail console design offering industrial level input solution. It optimizes your space utilization by controlling your systems in just 1U space on the rack. The rail design helps users to install the 8-Port Combo-Free KVM with ease. It is not necessary to prop the heavy console during installation but just lock the rails of the device into the rack and then the KVM console can be slid into the rails easily.
Via the IKVM-17080 built-in Ethernet port, the administrator can efficiently access to the the KVM console and operate it at remote site. The IKVM-17080 captures, digitizes and compresses video signal; then transmits it with keyboard and mouse signals through IP network. Multiple remote sites can monitor the same PC server simultaneously. With HTTPS / SSL authentication and data encryption, the IKVM-17080 provides a non-intrusive solution for remote access and control via its embedded processors but not on mission-critical servers, so that there would be no interference with server operation or influence on the network performance.

Cascade capability, On Screen Display (OSD) menu, Password security, Searching PC server name, Hot key control, Push button and Auto-Scan control, and complete keyboard and mouse emulation for simultaneously PC boot-up processes.

The IKVM-17080 is an IP-Based KVM control unit allowing both local and remote operators to monitor and access multiple computers within the network. Integrated with PLANET KVM Switches KVM-810, a KVM chain can be constructed easily by applying the IKVM-17080. Up to 8 KVM-810 can be cascade that shall forming up to 64 PCs connected and be monitored within one IKVM-17080 no matter locally or remotely.
