The HP StorageWorks Disk System 2405 (ds2405) supports the latest 2 Gb Fibre Channel technology and with a modular design, is a highly scalable and flexible storage system. The ds2405 offers excellent investment protection because it can be upgraded from a standalone disk system to add-on storage for the HP Virtual Array.
Supports the 2 Gb Fibre Channel interconnects with speeds of 200 MB/s
Up to 15 disk drives in each enclosure (or over 1 TB in capacity) in a slim 3U form factor
Scales up to 105 disk drives
